The Talon Mission

The Tech To Tell Your Story

As event professionals, our job is to make your creative vision come true.

We provide pre-event and onsite Audio-Visual Technical Production, Project Management, and AV technical support for all manner of events. We support projects ranging from auctions to plays to medical conferences to concerts to programming summits to quarterly financials to board meetings. We work with you, your team, and your stakeholders to document your creative vision, and use that vision to specify, plan, and execute the technical components of events.

Talon has executed complex events for top-tier tech companies, international event planning firms, world-renown universities, and industry-leading trade-associations. We’ve also helped county food banks, regional fashion shows, and hyperlocal community events grow and exceed their event goals.

No matter your size or scope, Talon AV can help you get signal from here to there, make your videos appear where they should, get your Skype or Zoom call routed to the right place, and make sure the stream stays live. We are total geeks, and love figuring out some new tech, optimizing signal routing, or figuring out a network issue.

Making Magic

Events are Magical. As event professionals, we take a bare, plain space, and by adding light, color, fabric, music, and movement, we transform a drab space into a magical place where people make real-world connections.

Talon’s mission for events, both physical and virtual, is to create ephemeral spaces from whole-cloth in order to tell stories.

Whether those stories are about your product launch, your earnings report, your core organizational mission, or your latest campaign, we want to help you share that with your audience, no matter the size. Events are magical, and at their best bring each other together to experience, if only for a moment, truly hearing each other. We believe at the core, we are in the storytelling business, and we want to help you create the perfect environment for your story.

Everything we do in events exists only for a moment - the ephemerality of events is a core aspect of the “live” nature of events, and for us there is power in asking our audiences to live in the now at our events. But as the lines between the physical and the virtual blur, we can bend, freeze, and rewind time, stretching the moments we create in infinite ways, like magic.

Let us help you make that magic for your audience as you tell your story.

In 2010, my college friend Aaron Cooper and I had a shared goal to help our community come together with stories and music. Aaron was a DJ, recording engineer, musician, artist and connoisseur, while I was an event technician and live entertainment production manager. Both Aaron and I were working professionally in event production, and decided to join forces in a venture we called called Talon Entertainment. Aaron and I shared a vision of creative, high-value production, and a shared goal to always provide an exemplary client experience. Shortly after graduating from university Aaron changed careers and moved from events into software engineering, while I continued to grow the Talon brand. Aaron and I remained great friends and continued to collaborate. Tragically, in March of 2018, Aaron passed away, leaving in his absence a legacy of artistic, creative and technical talents. Talon Audio Visual has evolved in many ways since we founded it in a college bedroom, but through several evolutions of the business, the Talon name lives on in Aaron’s memory.
